Bitch Be Gone Ritual Guide
Welcome. I'm glad you're here :)
This ritual was designed to help remove troublesome people, unwanted influences, toxic situations, energetic attachments, bad habits, lingering negativity, and anything else that has overstayed its welcome.
Despite the name, Bitch Be Gone isn't necessarily about banishing a specific person. Sometimes the "bitch" is an ex who won't leave you alone. Sometimes it's a toxic coworker. Sometimes it's a draining situation, persistent bad luck, self-sabotaging behavior, or an energetic pattern you're finally ready to release.
If you're a baby witch, you'll find detailed instructions to guide you through the process. No gatekeeping here.
If you're a seasoned practitioner, take a look anyway. Included is helpful information on your kit, techniques I have found to be especially effective beyond lighting a wick, and suggestions for continuing the work after the initial ritual is complete.
Full Ritual Instructions
Begin by creating sacred space. Light incense and play music that helps you shift into a ritual mindset. The included herbal blend may be burned on charcoal, or you may use an incense of your own choosing.
Cleanse both your aura and your physical space by lighting the included ethically sourced Peruvian Palo Santo stick. As the smoke rises, visualize stagnant energy, obstacles, unwanted influences, and anything no longer serving your highest good leaving your life completely.
If desired, create an altar or ritual workspace using candles, photographs, protective symbols, crystals, offerings, or other meaningful spiritual tools. If you do not maintain a formal spiritual practice, simply choose a quiet space where you can focus clearly on your intention.
On a piece of paper, write a clear and specific petition describing what you wish to remove, banish, release, break away from, or send out of your life. Be direct and specific.
Hold the petition paper between your hands and charge it with your intention. Visualize the unwanted person, situation, habit, energy, or obstacle becoming smaller, weaker, and more distant until it no longer has influence over your life. Allow yourself to fully experience the relief, freedom, and peace associated with the outcome you desire.
Next, hold the candle in your hands and charge it with the same intention. Carve names, symbols, sigils, affirmations, or phrases related to your desired outcome into the wax.
Apply the ritual oil to the candle, sprinkle a small amount of herbal blend onto your petition paper, then roll the candle through the herbs while speaking your intention aloud.
Place the dressed candle into the included cast iron holder and set it inside a fire-safe bowl or dish. Fold your petition paper away from yourself once, then continue folding counterclockwise four times to symbolically push the situation out of your life. Place the folded petition beneath the candle holder.
Light the candle and allow it to burn completely. Spend a few moments visualizing yourself free from the situation. Imagine doors closing behind what is leaving and new opportunities opening in its place.
Once the candle has finished burning, leave the petition beneath the holder overnight. The following day, either burn the petition to ash in a fire-safe container or dispose of it away from your home. Many practitioners prefer to discard banishing petitions at a crossroads, public trash receptacle, or other location away from their property as a symbolic act of release.
So mote it be.
