The intention isn't to force someone to do something they don't want to do. Think of it as helping soften the edges. You're creating the energetic conditions for greater warmth, understanding, cooperation, and goodwill while strengthening the energy you bring into the interaction.

Full Ritual Instructions

Begin by creating sacred space. Light incense and play music that helps you shift into a ritual mindset. The included herbal blend may be burned on charcoal, or you may use an incense of your own choosing.

Cleanse yourself, your ritual tools, and your physical space using your preferred method. As you cleanse, visualize tension, resistance, misunderstandings, and stagnant energy clearing away, leaving room for greater harmony and cooperation.

If desired, create an altar or ritual workspace using candles, flowers, crystals, photographs, offerings, personal objects, or anything meaningful to your intention. If you do not maintain a formal spiritual practice, simply choose a quiet space where you can focus clearly on the outcome you wish to create.

On a piece of paper, write a clear and specific intention describing the person, relationship, conversation, opportunity, or situation you wish to shift in your favor.

Focus on what you want to happen rather than what's currently going wrong.

If you're dealing with conflict, ask for understanding. If communication has been difficult, ask for openness and clarity. If you're walking into a meeting, interview, date, or new social situation, focus on being warmly received. If you're working toward an opportunity, focus on the people involved seeing you and your ideas favorably.

Hold the petition between your hands and charge it with your intention.

Visualize the interaction going exactly as you hope. See communication flowing more easily. Imagine tension softening. Picture yourself being heard, understood, appreciated, respected, welcomed, or supported.

Most importantly, imagine how you feel in that moment: calm, confident, comfortable, and completely at ease with how you're being received.

Next, hold the candle in your hands and charge it with the same intention. Carve names, symbols, sigils, affirmations, or phrases related to your desired outcome into the wax.

Apply the ritual oil to the candle, sprinkle a small amount of herbal blend onto your petition paper, then roll the candle through the herbs while speaking your intention aloud.

Place the dressed candle into the included cast iron holder and set it inside a fire-safe bowl or dish.

Fold your petition paper toward yourself once, turn it clockwise, and fold it toward yourself again. Continue until you have made four folds, keeping your attention on drawing goodwill, cooperation, and favorable energy toward you.

Place the folded petition beneath the candle holder.

Light the candle and allow it to burn completely.

As it burns, visualize the situation shifting. See resistance giving way to openness, tension becoming ease, difficult communication becoming productive, and the people involved becoming warmer and more receptive toward you.

Once the candle has finished burning, leave the petition beneath the holder overnight. The following day, either burn the petition to ash in a fire-safe container or dissolve it in salt water before returning it to the earth by burial.

So mote it be.
