Love That Healed Me Ritual Guide
Welcome. I'm glad you're here :)
This ritual was designed to help call in the kind of love that feels safe, supportive, and healing. The kind of relationship that reminds you not everyone will hurt you, and that it's okay to open your heart again.
Sometimes this ritual is used after heartbreak, betrayal, divorce, or unhealthy relationships. Sometimes it's performed to call in a soulmate, reconnect with someone meant to walk beside you, or simply attract the people who will help you grow into the person you're becoming. However you choose to work with it, this ritual was designed to help support those goals.
If you're a baby witch, you'll find detailed instructions to guide you through the process. No gatekeeping here.
If you're a seasoned practitioner, take a look anyway. Included is helpful information on your kit, techniques I have found to be especially effective beyond lighting a wick, and suggestions for continuing the work after the initial ritual is complete.
Full Ritual Instructions
Begin by creating sacred space. Light incense and play music that helps you shift into a ritual mindset. The included herbal blend may be burned on charcoal, or you may use an incense of your own choosing.
Cleanse both your aura and your physical space by lighting the online-exclusive included Palo Santo stick or spiritual cleansing material of your choice. As the smoke rises, visualize heartbreak, fear, disappointment, old wounds, and anyone who no longer belongs in your story dissolving and leaving your field. Imagine your heart becoming lighter, softer, and ready to receive the love that's meant for you.
If desired, create an altar or ritual workspace using fresh flowers, rose quartz, meaningful photographs, love letters, symbols of hope, jewelry, or other meaningful objects connected to the relationship you'd like to call in. If you do not maintain a formal spiritual practice, simply choose a quiet space where you can focus clearly on your intention.
On a piece of paper, write a clear and specific petition describing the relationship you'd like to experience. Rather than focusing on a specific person, focus on how you want to feel—safe, cherished, supported, respected, peaceful, and loved exactly as you are. Be as specific as possible.
While reconciliation is certainly possible, no ritual can force someone to become the person you need them to be. For that reason, this ritual is often most effective when your petition focuses on the feelings and qualities you're calling into your life, rather than attaching them to one specific person.
Hold the petition paper between your hands and charge it with your intention. Visualize yourself already living the life you've described. Picture a relationship where you can laugh freely, communicate honestly, feel emotionally safe, and trust the person standing beside you. Imagine yourself feeling like yourself again. Allow yourself to fully experience the feelings of peace, excitement, gratitude, confidence, and genuine happiness.
Next, hold the candle in your hands and charge it with the same intention. Carve hearts, affirmations, sigils, or phrases related to your desired outcome into the wax.
Apply the ritual oil to the candle, sprinkle a small amount of herbal blend onto your petition paper, then roll the candle through the herbs while speaking your intention aloud.
Place the dressed candle into the included cast iron holder and set it inside a fire-safe bowl or dish. Fold your petition paper toward yourself once, then continue folding clockwise four times to symbolically draw loving, supportive relationships into your life. Place the folded petition beneath the candle holder.
Light the candle and allow it to burn completely. Spend a few quiet moments focusing on the kind of relationship you're ready to receive. Trust that by releasing what no longer serves you, you're creating space for something healthier to find you.
Once the candle has finished burning, leave the petition beneath the holder overnight. The following day, either burn the petition to ash in a fire-safe container or place it somewhere meaningful, such as beneath your mattress, inside your nightstand, or on your altar as a reminder of the intention you've set.
So mote it be.
