Queen of Wands Ritual Guide
Welcome. I'm glad you're here :)
This ritual was designed to help you call forward your boldest, sexiest, most powerful self.
The Queen of Wands is the ultimate girl boss and the best friend everyone wishes they had. In tarot, she represents confidence, passion, courage, charisma, creativity, and unwavering determination. She knows what she wants, isn't afraid to put herself out there, and naturally commands the attention and respect she deserves.
Whether you're ready for your glow up, reclaiming your power, building the life you've always wanted, or becoming the woman who's thriving and sure of herself, this ritual is here to remind you that you're that queen.
If you're a baby witch, you'll find detailed instructions to guide you through the process. No gatekeeping here.
If you're a seasoned practitioner, take a look anyway. Included is helpful information on your kit, techniques I have found to be especially helpful beyond lighting a wick, and suggestions for continuing the work after the initial ritual is complete.
Full Ritual Instructions
Begin by creating sacred space. Light incense and play music that makes you feel powerful, confident, and completely yourself. The included herbal blend may be burned on charcoal, or you may use an incense of your own choosing.
Cleanse both your aura and your physical space using your preferred method of spiritual cleansing. You may choose to light palo santo, cedar, sage, incense, or another cleansing herb or resin that aligns with your practice. As the smoke rises, visualize self-doubt, insecurity, comparison, fear, and limiting beliefs dissolving and leaving your field. Imagine yourself standing taller, speaking more confidently, and fully stepping into your own power.
If desired, create an altar or ritual workspace using a mirror, jewelry, perfume, makeup, fresh flowers, vision boards, photographs, the Queen of Wands tarot card, or other meaningful objects connected to the version of yourself you're becoming. If you do not maintain a formal spiritual practice, simply choose a quiet space where you can focus clearly on your intention.
On a piece of paper, write a clear and specific petition describing the woman you're becoming. Focus on how she carries herself, how she speaks, how she loves herself, and how she moves through the world with confidence. Be as specific as possible.
Hold the petition paper between your hands and charge it with your intention. Visualize yourself already embodying that version of yourself. See yourself speaking confidently, setting healthy boundaries, attracting the right people, taking bold action, and trusting your own intuition. Allow yourself to fully experience the feelings of confidence, excitement, self-worth, and personal power.
Next, hold the candle in your hands and charge it with the same intention. Carve affirmations, sigils, hearts, suns, sunflowers, flames, or words that remind you of the woman you're becoming into the wax.
Apply the ritual oil to the candle, sprinkle a small amount of herbal blend onto your petition paper, then roll the candle through the herbs while speaking your intention aloud.
Place the dressed candle into the included cast iron holder and set it inside a fire-safe bowl or dish. Fold your petition paper toward yourself once, then continue folding clockwise four times to symbolically draw confidence, charisma, courage, passion, and personal power into your life. Place the folded petition beneath the candle holder.
Light the candle and allow it to burn completely. Spend a few moments visualizing yourself already living as the woman you described in your petition. Focus on the feeling of becoming more sure of yourself every day.
Once the candle has finished burning, leave the petition beneath the holder overnight. The following day, either burn the petition to ash in a fire-safe container or place it somewhere you'll see often, such as your mirror, journal, vanity, or altar, as a reminder of the woman you're becoming.
So mote it be.
